Caring for your Jewelry
Jewelry Care Instructions:
- Avoid wearing your breastmilk jewelry when handling water. This includes swimming, showering, bathing, or washing your hands/dishes. Condensation should also be avoided. This includes sauna or exercise. This is important because your precious jewelry includes DNA, which is an organic material that can mold with overexposure to water.
- Remove jewelry while applying or handling products like hand sanitizers, lotion, creams, powder, essential oils, and household cleaning products. This will extend the longevity of your jewelry.
-Remove jewelry while doing heavy activities, chores, cleaning, or gardening.
- Your customized stone is hard but is not scratch-proof. Avoid rubbing your jewelry against any rough, sharp, or pointy surfaces.
-When not wearing your jewelry, store it away from direct sunlight and heat (this includes tanning beds). Store jewelry in a cool, dark and dry area, like a jewelry box or in the container your jewelry arrived in.
- Avoid exposing your jewelry to harsh chemicals. The chemical may damage and dull your breastmilk jewelry. This includes avoiding any materials that could stain your gems.
- Clean your jewelry with water and mild soap. After cleaning, wipe with a soft cloth like microfiber. Never clean your jewelry with any jewelry cleaner.
- I highly recommend storing your jewelry in the container it came with to ensure the longevity of your piece.
